British Council's Global Bites Contest Celebrates Food Culture

The British Council's Digital Library has launched the Global Bites Culinary Journey competition, inviting food lovers and cooking enthusiasts aged 18 and above to submit short videos featuring their favorite dishes and culinary stories. This competition, celebrating food culture and storytelling, is in honor of World Food Day on October 16.

Participants are encouraged to share the cultural significance and personal stories behind their dishes creatively. Winners will receive a free premium digital library membership, and all contestants will get a certificate of participation.

The competition aims to showcase the diversity of cuisine and the rich stories behind different foods.
