GOC 81 Division Urges Troops to Uphold Discipline

Major General Adebayo Babalola, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, addressed troops at Badagry on Tuesday, urging them to maintain high standards of discipline, professionalism, and law-abiding conduct. This address took place during an operational familiarization visit to the 243 Recce Battalion and the 15 Field Engineer Regiment.

Major General Babalola expressed satisfaction with the professionalism displayed by the battalion and encouraged the troops to sustain these standards. He noted ongoing transformations within the Nigerian Army and urged the troops to remain patient and committed to improving service conditions.

The GOC reaffirmed that the welfare of soldiers and their families is a top priority. He also emphasized the need for troops to avoid harassment of civilians during operations.

During the visit, Major General Babalola inspected various facilities, including a newly constructed medical center, and paid condolences to the royal family of the late Oba De Wheno Aholu Menu Toyi of Badagry.
