Army Commander Urges Troops to Uphold Discipline

During a visit to the operational base in Owaza, Brigadier General Ahmad Mansur Dikko of the 14 Brigade Nigerian Army emphasized the necessity for troops to uphold discipline and adhere strictly to their constitutional responsibilities. This visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen operational effectiveness in the Eastern region.

Accompanied by Commodore Bu Quadri of the Nigerian Navy, Dikko addressed the troops, stressing the importance of maintaining a heightened state of alert due to the unpredictable security environment. He noted the procurement of 23 mattresses for the troops and highlighted the cultural alignment with the Chief of Army Staff's philosophy, Lt.

Gen. Waidi Shaibu, aimed at boosting troop morale.

Additionally, the visit included the refurbishment of Toyota Hilux vehicles to enhance operational readiness and quick response capabilities. Brigadier General Dikko reaffirmed the brigade's commitment to protecting citizens and ensuring the security of lives and properties in Nigeria.
