ADC Youth Wing Demands Retraction from Nafiu Bala

The youth wing of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Gombe State has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to former governorship candidate Hon. Nafiu Bala, demanding he retract a recent statement that they interpret as a formal acceptance of his resignation from the party.

This ultimatum, delivered by the ADC Youth Network, signals a deepening leadership crisis within the party as it prepares for the 2027 general elections. Abubakar Galafi, who convened the group, accused Bala of undermining the party's unity and democratic principles, alleging that his actions amount to a deliberate assault on the party's core values.

The youth wing expressed outrage over Bala's disregard for legal pronouncements and party procedures, claiming he is aligning with forces that seek to sabotage the party's credibility and unity. They emphasized their refusal to remain silent in the face of what they describe as a hijacking of democracy within the ADC in Gombe State.
