ADC Youths Demand Nafiu Bala Resignation in 48 Hours

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) youth network in Gombe State has given Nafiu Bala a 48-hour ultimatum to resign amid a deepening leadership crisis within the party. The group, led by Abubakar Galafi, expressed outrage over Bala's recent statements that they interpret as a formal acceptance of resignation, which they claim undermines the party's unity and democratic values.

They accuse Bala of disregarding legal party procedures and aligning with external forces that threaten the ADC's stability ahead of the 2027 general elections. The crisis reportedly escalated due to internal coalition arrangements, with Bala allegedly accepting a position and later reversing his stance.

Mustafa Hadi Aminu, a former governorship candidate, has distanced himself from Bala's actions, asserting that Bala's claims to party leadership are baseless. The youth network warns that failure to comply with their demands will attract stiff opposition, emphasizing their commitment to protecting democratic values within the ADC.
