APC Selects Moham Ahmed as Gombe Central Candidate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially dropped Danjuma Goje as its candidate for the Gombe Central senatorial district, selecting Moham Ahmed as the consensus candidate for the upcoming 2027 general elections. This decision was reached after consultations among party leaders and stakeholders from the Yamaltu Deba and Akko local government areas.

Benjamin Abner Mamman, a stakeholder, described this development as a major political breakthrough for the people of the senatorial district. The consensus arrangement is intended to reflect unity within the party and enhance its chances in the forthcoming elections.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya commended the leadership and statesmanship that guided this agreement, emphasizing the need for further consolidation and cohesion within the party. Stakeholders have called on residents of Yamaltu Deba and Akko to sustain their support and work towards the success of the APC in the 2027 polls.
