Gombe State Partners with MSU to Establish Agriculture Faculty

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, signed a Letter of Intent with Michigan State University (MSU) to establish a Faculty of Agriculture at Gombe State University (GSU). The partnership aims to enhance agricultural development and research capacity building.

The collaboration, formalized during Governor Yahaya's working visit, involves joint research initiatives, curriculum development, faculty and student exchanges, and projects focusing on sustainable agriculture and renewable energy applications. Senior MSU officials, including Professor Bradley Marks and Professor Karim Maredia, attended the signing ceremony.

The partnership signifies a significant step towards strengthening international ties in agricultural education and fostering innovation in the agricultural sector.
