Google Launches Global Search Live with AI Features

Google has announced a global expansion of its Search Live feature, enabling users in 200 countries and territories to engage in real-time conversations with its search engine using voice and camera. This rollout is powered by the Gemini 3.1 model, which includes a flash live upgrade to the audio voice model designed to deliver natural and intuitive conversational interactions.

The feature supports multiple languages, allowing users worldwide to interact in their preferred language. Users can engage with the search voice within the Google app on Android and iOS devices by tapping the live icon located in the search bar.

They can ask questions aloud and receive audio responses, continuing the conversation with follow-up questions and additional web links. The camera functionality allows users to provide visual context, enabling the search engine to analyze objects in front of them and offer practical suggestions along with relevant information.

This expansion reflects Google’s ongoing efforts to enhance user interaction and assist users in solving everyday problems easily through conversational AI technology.
