Gov Abdulrazaq Supports Injured Soldiers After Ambush

On a recent visit to injured soldiers in Kwara State, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq emphasized the importance of maintaining troop movement confidentiality to ensure operational security. This visit followed a bandit ambush that resulted in the death of three soldiers and injuries to three others.

During the visit, the governor met with Brigadier General Nichola Nemetn Rume, the chief medical director, Prof. Abdullah Dasilva Yussuf, and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased soldiers.

He announced a donation of N20 million to support the families of the fallen soldiers and N5 million for each of the injured soldiers. Abdulrazaq commended the selfless service of the security agencies and urged Nigerians to continue supporting the military in their fight against banditry and terrorism.

He highlighted the dangers faced by security personnel daily in their efforts to keep the country safe.
