COSEYL Celebrates Adeleke's Re-election in Osun State

The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) praised the re-election of Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke as Governor of Osun State, calling it a victory for democratic choice and the principle that political power belongs to the people. In a statement issued on Tuesday by President General Comrade Goodluck Ibem, COSEYL commended stakeholders involved in the election and urged respect for the democratic process.

They congratulated Adeleke on his victory in the August 15th Governorship election, emphasizing that his renewed mandate should be viewed as a social contract with the people. COSEYL expects his second term to focus on accelerated development, accountability, youth empowerment, and various social services.

They called for the inclusion of youth in governance and urged the opposition to accept the election outcome maturely. COSEYL reaffirmed its commitment to democracy and commended the people of Osun State for their electoral participation.
