Gov. Alia Pledges Road Construction for Security in Benue State

Hyacinth Alia, has pledged to construct the Nyihemba–Anwase–Abande Road to facilitate movement and enhance security in the region. During a visit to Turan Kwand Local Government Area following recent attacks in Anwase and Abande communities, Gov.

Alia assured the residents of his commitment to their safety and dignity. He condemned the attacks and promised to collaborate with security agencies to restore peace.

The Governor also met with traditional rulers and residents to address their concerns directly. Additionally, State President Bola Tinubu was briefed on the situation to reinforce support in the area.

Gov. Alia's focus is on restoring electricity and providing new infrastructure to the affected areas.
