Bayelsa Governor Names Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer as Head of Civil Service

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has appointed Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer as the new Head of Civil Service following the retirement of Barrister Biobelemoye.

Dr. Sawyer, a seasoned civil servant, has been elevated from Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry of Health.

With a strong background in public health and extensive experience in the Bayelsa civil service since 1998, Dr. Sawyer's appointment is seen as a strategic move to lead the state's civil service.
