Governor Lawal Launches Key Development Projects in Anka

On the commissioning day, Governor Lawal inaugurated several key projects in Anka, Zamfara State, including the reconstruction of the Emir's palace, the construction of a new local government secretariat, and the flagging off of the Anka-Abbar road project. These initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to fulfill campaign promises made to the people of Zamfara.

The governor highlighted the importance of restoring the dignity of traditional institutions, particularly the Emir's palace, which serves as a cultural heritage custodian. He also emphasized the need to strengthen civil service conditions by providing a conducive work environment for public servants.

The Anka-Abbar road is described as a vital link that will enhance economic activities and improve access to rural communities. Additionally, the governor announced plans for the Hisbah Commission to have suitable offices to effectively execute its functions, reinforcing the importance of law and order in society.

Lawal concluded by stating that similar projects would soon commence in other areas, including Tsafe, Kaura Namoda, Moriki, Bungudu, Bukkuyum, and Zurmi.
