Zamfara Governor Rehabilitates Security Vehicles to Boost Operations

Governor Lawal of Zamfara State has initiated a program to refurbish security vehicles to bolster operations in the region. The refurbishment ceremony, held at the Government House in Gusau, saw various agencies, including the Nigeria Immigration Service, receive rehabilitated vehicles.

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, led by Jamilu Bello, spearheaded the initiative following the observation of several operational vehicles facing mechanical faults. Hon. Lawal Barau Bungudu, the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, explained that the program aimed to repair non-functional vehicles and restore optimal working conditions.

The state government's commitment to effective asset management and technical efficiency was emphasized through this exercise. The governor reiterated the administration's dedication to equipping security agencies with the necessary logistics to enhance response times and operational effectiveness.
