Zamfara Retired Perm Secs Honor Gov. Lawal for Impactful Projects

Retired Permanent Secretaries in Zamfara State honored Governor Lawal for his impactful projects at a ceremony in Gusau. The Governor, through his spokesperson Sulaiman Bala Idri, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the significance of the award.

The Governor's administration has focused on security as a top priority, with achievements in revenue generation and infrastructure development. The projects executed by the administration have cut across all local government areas in the state, totaling over 20 billion Naira.

The Governor's commitment to transparency and accountability was highlighted, with plans for an international airport and ongoing efforts to boost the state's economy. The Chairman of the Zamfara State Retired Permanent Secretaries Association, Muhammad Bello Umar, commended Governor Lawal for his vision and achievements since assuming office in 2023.

Umar also appealed to the Governor to settle outstanding gratuities for retirees.
