Governor Mbah to Build Access Road for FEDPOLY Ohodo

On February 12, 2023, Governor Peter Mbah hosted members of the governing council of FEDPOLY Ohodo, led by Chairman Emmanuel Ocheja. During the visit, Mbah pledged to construct a seven-kilometer access road connecting the polytechnic to Otukpo, Obollo Afor, and the 9th Mile Enugu road.

He emphasized the importance of the institution in developing technical skills and promised administrative support to resolve issues, including the non-payment of compensation to landowners who donated land for the polytechnic's permanent site. Mbah highlighted the polytechnic's potential to produce 260,000 technically inclined students annually and its role in bridging the skill gap in the region.

The governor also noted the state's robust scholarship scheme aimed at encouraging youth academic endeavors. The initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu's agenda for enhancing access to education and promoting technical vocational training in Nigeria.
