Mutfwang Advocates Unity in Bashar Chiefdom's New Era

On a recent visit to the New Government House in Little Rayfield, Jos, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang called for unity among the people of Bashar Chiefdom in Wase Local Government Area. This appeal followed the reinstatement of HRH Alhaji Abdullahi Idris as the Reckna of Bashar.

Mutfwang described the resolution of the traditional leadership dispute as a “new beginning,” encouraging residents to embrace peace and development. He emphasized that the reinstatement should not be viewed as a victory for any faction but as a chance to rebuild trust within the community.

The governor assured the delegation that security remains a priority, revealing that the State Security Council had met to monitor developments in Wase. He also acknowledged challenges in education, particularly the shortage of teachers in rural areas, and pledged to address these issues.

The Reckna commended Mutfwang for his commitment to fairness and raised concerns about insecurity in the chiefdom, calling for better coordination among security agencies.
