Plateau State Government Defends Mutfwang's Igbo Remarks

The government clarified that Mutfwang did not seek to diminish any ethnic group's experiences or distort historical realities of the Nigerian Civil War. The government also highlighted Plateau's history of accommodating diverse ethnic groups and aligned Mutfwang's approach with Yakubu Gowon's post-war policies. It urged Nigerians to reject distorted interpretations of the governor's remarks that could incite ethnic divisions.
