Nwifuru Urges Peace and Unity During Eid el-Fitr

Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the Governor of Ebonyi State, called upon the Muslim community to leverage the sacred occasion of Eid el-Fitr to promote peace and global stability. In his message, he urged Muslims to emulate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad by showing love, extending charity, and fostering camaraderie among neighbors, particularly during this holy season.

Nwifuru extended warm greetings and heartfelt goodwill to Muslims in Ebonyi State and across Nigeria, emphasizing the need to renew commitments to values of unity and generosity. He highlighted the importance of celebrating the essence of Islam, especially during challenging times for the nation.

The governor called for prayers for enduring peace and stability in Nigeria, particularly as the country approaches the 2027 political season. He urged the Muslim community to pray for wisdom and tolerance, ensuring that the upcoming elections are violence-free, while also supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.
