Ebonyi Governor Nwifuru Secures Investment from China

Ebonyi Governor Francis Nwifuru revealed that the Hunan and Jiangxi governments have committed to partnering with Ebonyi State on development projects after a successful 9-day visit to China. Nwifuru made this announcement in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr.

Monday Uzor, while addressing worshippers at the Government House Chapel in Abakaliki. He described the visit as fruitful, highlighting "robust interactions" with foreign investors and a warm reception from officials of the Hunan and Jiangxi provinces.

Nwifuru attributed the political and economic progress of his administration over the past three years to divine intervention and collaboration with stakeholders. He assured both foreign and local investors of a conducive environment for business in Ebonyi, which he described as "the safest" state.

Additionally, he thanked Bishop Ernest Obodo for fostering harmony between the state and the church and dismissed speculations about 2027 politics, affirming his administration's focus on governance until 2031.
