Edo Governor Urges Youths to Join Nigerian Army Recruitment

Governor Mondai Okpebholo of Edo State has called on qualified young men and women in the state to join the Nigerian Army as part of the 91st regular recruitment intake. This appeal was made in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr.

Patrick Ebojel, on Tuesday in Benin City. The recruitment exercise is scheduled to take place from April 8 to April 14, and aims to engage and guide prospective applicants through the recruitment process.

Governor Okpebholo highlighted the opportunity for Edo youths to improve the state's participation in the national quota for army recruitment and to build a disciplined career in national service. He urged parents, guardians, traditional rulers, community leaders, and religious institutions to mobilize and encourage eligible candidates to apply.

The governor also advised candidates to ensure they have the necessary documents ready and to present themselves at designated sensitization centers during the recruitment period. The Edo State government remains committed to creating opportunities for the youth.
