Gov. Otti Receives Niger Delta Games Torch for Improved Abia Outing

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State received the Niger Delta Games torch at the Umuahia Township Stadium, brought by Joseph Edidiong, a weightlifter from Akwa Ibom State. Hon.

Nwaobilor Ananaba, the State Sports Commission Chairman, and other officials were present. Dr.

Emmanuel Meribol, representing the Abia State Government, emphasized the need for proper preparations for the games scheduled to begin in Benin, Edo State from February 20 to 27. The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is sponsoring the games, with Fred Edoreh serving as the project director.

The torch will continue its tour to Imo State.
