Governor Otti Mourns US Doctor's Death During Outreach

Governor Otti of Abia State expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of Dr. Uzoma Nwaubani, a US-based medical doctor, who died during a free medical outreach organized by the Nigerian Physician Association in America (ANPA) in Abia State.

Dr. Nwaubani had returned from America to participate in this outreach when he developed a medical emergency.

Despite the gallant efforts made by the skilled medical team to resuscitate him, he was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. Governor Otti issued a statement on Saturday, commending the family of the late physician and confirming that the ongoing free medical outreach would not be suspended due to this tragedy.

He emphasized that his administration would continue to prioritize the health of the people of Abia State.
