Governor Uba Sani Launches Poultry Input Distribution in Kaduna

On Thursday, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State flagged off the distribution of poultry inputs to 5,000 farmers across the state, reaffirming his administration's commitment to agricultural development. This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen agricultural productivity and enhance the livelihoods of farmers.

The distribution includes 500 solar-powered freezers, 3,000 bags of poultry feed, and 200,000 day-old chicks, organized through farmer cooperatives across 23 local government areas. Deputy Dr.

Hadiza Balarab represented the governor at the event, where he assured that the government will continue to pursue policies aimed at achieving food security and significantly contributing to national agricultural output. The initiative is expected to boost production, expand economic opportunities, and improve the quality of livestock products, particularly benefiting women and youth.

Governor Sani highlighted previous progress in livestock development and ongoing interventions to ensure animal health and market access for farmers.
