Kaumi Zulum Wins APC Reps Ticket in Borno State

Kaumi Zulum, the brother of Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, emerged as the winner of the APC House of Representatives primary election for the Dikwa, Konduga, and Mafa federal constituency. The announcement was made by Prophet Jone Eru, the chairman of the APC primary election committee, on Sunday in Maiduguri.

Kaumi Zulum was declared the unopposed winner. In other results, Fati Alkali won the APC primary for the Mobbar, Guzamala, and Abadam federal constituency, while Usman Zannah emerged as the APC candidate for the Magumeri, Kaga, and Gubio federal constituency.

Ahm Jaha secured the party's ticket for the Gwoza, Chibok, and Damboa federal constituency. Abdulkadir Rahi won the APC primary for the Maiduguri Metropolitan Council federal constituency with 38,576 votes, and Mustapha Abdullahi secured the APC ticket for the Bama, Ngala, and Kala Balg federal constituency with 20,509 votes.

The primary elections were conducted peacefully across nine states, with one constituency's results declared inconclusive due to a complaint filed by an aspirant.
