Governor Eno Advances Ibom Deep Sea Port Development

Governor Eno is accelerating efforts to develop the Ibom Deep Sea Port, highlighting the necessity for a clear timeline and defined milestones to fast-track the project. During a high-level technical engagement with the Africa Global Logistics (AGL) group, a review of the recent technical feasibility report was conducted.

The governor underscored the importance of the project in diversifying the state's economy and advancing its blue economy agenda. He expressed optimism that the Ibom Deep Sea Port would become a significant maritime trade and logistics hub in the Gulf of Guinea.

Governor Eno was accompanied by key figures including Mr. Mfon Usoro, Chairman of the Technical Committee for the project, Princ Enobong Uwah, Secretary to the State Government, Dr.

Frank Ekpenyong, and Engr. Uwem Okoko from Hensek Integrated Services.

This engagement marks a significant step towards the concrete execution of the port project’s technical investment plan.
