Dispute Erupts in Zamfara APC Over Governorship Nomination for 2027 Election

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is embroiled in a dispute following the nomination of Alhaji Muktar Shehu Idri as the party's flag bearer for the 2027 governorship election. The controversy stems from the nullification of the 2019 governorship election results by the Supreme Court, which led to the emergence of the current Governor, Moham Bello Matawalle of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
