Ogun State Government Unveils CCTV Control Room for Amotekun Security Outfit

The Ogun State Government has revealed a CCTV control room for the Amotekun security outfit as part of efforts to boost security operations in the state. The control room, located at the Amotekun State Command headquarters in Abeokuta, will utilize modern surveillance tools to enhance real-time crime detection and response.

Brig. Gen. Alad Adedigba (retd.), the Amotekun Corps Commander, emphasized the importance of the control room in improving operational efficiency and strengthening security coverage across Ogun State. The government aims to empower security agencies to maintain law and order, ensuring residents can live without fear.

The State Secretary to the Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, highlighted the need for synergy among security agencies to effectively combat crime. Plans are underway to expand the surveillance initiative to cover more areas in the state.
