National Rebirth Agenda Backs Aiyedatiwa Against Criticism

The National Rebirth Agenda, a pro-government organization, has publicly supported Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, dismissing the Ondo Redemption Front (ORF) as a political tool aimed at undermining his administration. Dr Bala Al-Majeed, the group's national president, stated that the ORF's criticisms were distractions rather than genuine concerns regarding governance.

The National Rebirth Agenda pointed out significant achievements of Aiyedatiwa's administration, including the completion or ongoing development of approximately 190 kilometers of roads, recruitment of 2,100 teachers, and the renovation of 134 primary and 60 secondary schools. Additionally, over 100 primary healthcare centers have been upgraded, and new hospital facilities have been approved for various communities.

The group also mentioned agreements for a deep-sea port and a $4 billion petrochemical and fertilizer plant as evidence of efforts to attract private investment. They urged Aiyedatiwa to remain focused on his OUR EASE agenda and strengthen ties with President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
