Ondo APC Crisis: Group Supports Aggrieved Aspirants

The Ondo State Patriot Front (OSPF) has expressed support for aggrieved aspirants from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, dismissing claims made by Lucki Aiyedatiwa regarding sponsorship. Dr.

Daniel Olaniyi, the OSPF coordinator, stated that the aggrieved aspirants are pursuing legal action, believing that the primary elections violated APC's constitution and the Electoral Act. Olaniyi maintained that the legal actions taken by the aspirants are their constitutional right and should not be interpreted as disloyalty to the party.

He emphasized the importance of resolving disputes through legal means to ensure democracy flourishes. The OSPF urged the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to cooperate fully with the judicial process, asserting that true unity cannot be built on injustice.

They warned against any attempts to impose candidates through backdoor arrangements, which could undermine the legitimacy of the primary elections and weaken the APC's internal cohesion.
