PDP Group Supports New Acting Chairman Amid Leadership Dispute

A group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has pledged its support for the new Acting National Chairman, Hon. Abdulrahman Moham, after the suspension of Amb.

Umar Damagun. The group rejected the suspension of Damagun and accused him of incompetence and disrespect for court orders.

They emphasized the need for genuine reconciliation within the party and compliance with court directives. The Federal High Court in Abuja had previously ruled against the PDP proceeding with its 2025 national convention due to constitutional breaches and disobedience of court orders by Damagun's faction.
