North West PDP Support Groups Back Suspension of National Chairman for Party's Recovery

The North West PDP support groups have expressed their backing for the suspension of PDP national chairman, Ambassador Iliya Damagum, by the Federal High Court. The suspension was seen as a step towards restoring sanity and internal democracy within the party, amidst deep-seated leadership crises.

The coalition fully supports the decision to suspend Damagum and five other party leaders for alleged misconduct and dereliction of duty. They commend the appointment of Muhammad Abdulkadir as the acting national chairman and urge the immediate constitution of a reconciliation committee to address grievances and review the situation.
