AYSDGG Raises Concerns Over Appointment of Yakawada as Regional Development Commissions Chair

The Arewa Youths for Sustenance of Democracy and Good Governance (AYSDGG) expressed concerns over the appointment of Lawal Sama'ila Abdullahi Yakawada as the Chairman of the Boards and Commissions of the Federal Ministry of Regional Development. The group raised issues regarding the appointment process, emphasizing the need to adhere strictly to the law in making such appointments.

AYSDGG Coordinator, Engineer Aliyu Musa Aliyu, highlighted the importance of following legal and constitutional procedures in line with the established Acts governing the Development Commissions. The group emphasized the significance of upholding the principles of separation of powers and due process in appointments to key positions.
