Abuja Road Walk Promotes National Unity and Security

A group is organizing a road walk in Abuja to advocate for national unity and address pressing security issues in Nigeria. Comrade Isah Abubakar announced this initiative on Thursday, emphasizing that security is a collective responsibility that requires the involvement of all citizens, not just the government.

The group aims to draw attention to the urgent need for collaboration among citizens, community leaders, traditional rulers, religious organizations, and political actors to tackle the evolving security threats, including terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping. Abubakar noted that insecurity has expanded over the years, affecting various regions and demographics across the country.

He called on leaders to set aside partisan interests and work together towards a common agenda to defeat insecurity. The initiative also encourages religious leaders to promote peace and tolerance while urging citizens to participate in advocacy campaigns aimed at restoring security and protecting lives.
