Youths March in Abuja for Unity Against Terrorism

On Tuesday, a group of young men and women gathered in Abuja to march for a united front against terrorism in Nigeria. They called for unity across political affiliations, urging politicians to prioritize national security over political differences.

Comrade Austin Okhai, a speaker at the event, emphasized that insecurity has become a nationwide problem affecting everyone, necessitating collective efforts to tackle the serious challenges facing Nigeria. He cited examples of unity in countries like Israel, Pakistan, and Kenya, which have faced severe security challenges.

Okhai criticized politicians for using insecurity as a campaign tool rather than addressing it. Comrade Isah Abubakar echoed these sentiments, stating that insecurity impacts daily life and requires a united response from all Nigerians, regardless of their political or religious affiliations.

The march featured banners with slogans promoting unity against insecurity, including the hashtag #NigeriansUniteAgainstTerror.
