N10bn Fundraising for Tinubu Hajj Training Centre

The Mind Ulamah Community Development Association has announced plans to raise N10 billion to establish the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Hajj Training Resource Centre in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. This initiative was revealed during a fundraising event and lecture held on a Sunday.

The centre will serve as a training facility for pilgrims, featuring a central mosque, ablution facilities, a multipurpose hall, and an administrative block. Its primary goal is to educate individuals on the logistics of pilgrimage, including visa applications, insurance, and welfare, ensuring a hitch-free Hajj experience.

Dr. Abdullah Ahmad Jebe, the chairman of the association, emphasized the centre's role in alleviating stress and disappointment for pilgrims.

He also serves as a special adviser on Islamic affairs to the Lagos State governor. The centre aims to equip potential pilgrims with the necessary knowledge for traveling to the holy land.
