GTI Commends NSC, NFF for NPFL Transformation Efforts

GTI Asset Management Trust Limited praised the Nigeria Sports Commission (NSC) and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for their commitment to the transformation of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). In a press statement released in Lagos, GTI's Head of Media and Public Relations, Andrew Ekejiuba, described the decision as a bold and encouraging step that reflects the determination of Nigeria's sports administration to enhance the competitiveness and commercial viability of the league. Ekejiuba acknowledged the progress made, particularly the financial commitment from the NSC, which is expected to strengthen NPFL operations and accelerate its development.

He emphasized the importance of continued reforms, including improving club licensing, infrastructure, and fan engagement, to attract corporate sponsors and investors. Ekejiuba also cautioned against premature celebration, noting that while progress has been made, significant work remains to ensure the NPFL's sustainable growth and global competitiveness.
