Emeka Nkwoala Emerges as ZLP Gubernatorial Candidate

Emeka Nkwoala has been selected as the gubernatorial candidate for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Delta State, following a successful governorship congress supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Asaba. Nkwoala, a former chairman of the Labour Party in the state, expressed confidence in winning against the incumbent Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the upcoming 2027 elections.

He acknowledged Oborevwori's infrastructural developments, particularly in road and bridge construction, but asserted that the ZLP's strategic agenda would surpass the current administration's achievements. Nkwoala criticized the notion of political godfathers and emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization.

He also pledged to enhance access to free education and healthcare, aiming to usher in a new era of infrastructural development in the state.
