Guinness Nigeria Board Meeting: Interim Dividend on Agenda

Guinness Nigeria Plc has filed an updated board meeting notification with the Nigerian Exchange Limited, adding a proposal for the recommendation of an interim dividend to the agenda of its previously announced board meeting scheduled for 21 October 2026. The board will also consider the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30 September 2026.
Guinness Nigeria Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) of an update to its upcoming board meeting, originally announced for Wednesday, 21 October 2026. The updated notice, filed on 7 October 2026 and signed by Company Secretary Abimbola Ajibola-Jimoh, states that the board will now consider an additional agenda item: a proposal for the recommendation of an interim dividend.
The meeting was initially convened to consider the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30 September 2026. The approved financial statements are to be uploaded to the NGX Issuers' Portal no later than 22 October 2026.
In line with regulatory requirements, a closed period for trading in Guinness Nigeria's shares by insiders and their connected persons commenced on 1 October 2026. This closed period will remain in effect and will expire 24 hours after the Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30 September 2026 are released to the public. During this closed period, no insider or connected person may directly or indirectly deal in the company's securities.
