A local resident reported that the Gwa-Wereng Rim attack occurred around 9:30 p.m. The BYM noted that the attackers set houses ablaze in Dorong and engaged local vigilantes in gunfire at Jol Village.

The association's National President, Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri, condemned the attacks and called for enhanced security measures. They urged authorities to assist affected families and ensure justice for the victims.

The Plateau State Police Command's spokesperson was unavailable for comment.
