Gunmen Attack OSPAC Vigilante Office in Rivers State

On Saturday night, between 8:10 PM and 9:00 PM, gunmen attacked the OSPAC vigilante office located on Erema Street in Omoku, within the Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State. The attack resulted in injuries to personnel, with reports indicating that the assailants arrived in two ash-colored Lexus SUVs and began shooting indiscriminately.

This incident caused panic among residents and passersby, who fled for safety. Godknow Nkem, the public relations officer for OSPAC in Rivers State, expressed surprise at the attack, noting that the gunmen drove to the office and started shooting, leaving one personnel with a bullet wound to the ankle.

Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, as the station guard managed to repel the attack. ASP Grace Iring Koko, spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, confirmed that investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators, but no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
