Gunmen Kidnap Four in Abuja, Vigilante Killed in Attack

In a fresh attack in Byazhin community, Abuja, gunmen abducted four residents and killed a vigilante on Thursday morning. The attack involved approximately 28 heavily armed assailants who stormed the area, raising suspicions about a nearby camp.

The vigilante was shot and later succumbed to his injuries. Security sources confirmed the incident and reported that a joint team comprising military, police, and local vigilantes has been mobilized to conduct search and rescue operations.

Efforts are underway to locate the abducted residents and apprehend the attackers. The FCT Police Command's spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, was unreachable for comments at the time of the report.

This incident highlights the growing security challenges faced by residents in the rapidly developing suburb of Kubwa, prompting renewed concerns and calls for intensified security measures in the area.
