Four Travelers Kidnapped on Igbeti-Kishi Road, Oyo

On Thursday, the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Police Force confirmed the kidnapping of four individuals along the Igbeti-Kishi Road in Oyo State. Following the incident, immediate security actions were commissioned, including the deployment of personnel to the affected area.

Ayanlad, a spokesperson for the police, disclosed that the Commissioner of Police directed the Kishi-Igbeti Division to mobilize officers to the scene. Tactical units have been deployed to strengthen rescue operations and track down the suspects involved in the kidnapping.

The Western Nigeria Security Network, known as Amotekun, has also been involved in the response. Ayanlad urged residents to remain calm as security agencies continue their efforts to rescue the victims and apprehend the perpetrators, emphasizing the importance of credible information from the public to assist in the operations.
