Oyo Police Confirm Abduction of Four Along Igbeti-Kishi Road

The Oyo State Police Command confirmed the abduction of four individuals along the Igbeti-Kishi road in the Irepo Local Government Area. Olayinka Ayanlad, the police public relations officer, issued a statement on Thursday in Ibadan, detailing that upon receiving information, the Commissioner of Police directed the deployment of the division police office from Kishi and a tactical team to support necessary operations.

The command is committed to ensuring the safety of residents and has intensified intelligence gathering to track down the suspects. Ayanlad urged the public to remain calm and assist with information to aid ongoing operations.

Additionally, the police recently thwarted a bandit attack in Eleb village, Atisbo Local Government Area, neutralizing two gang members, and foiled a kidnapping attempt in Olorunda village, Ojongbodu, Oyo West Local Government Area, rescuing a victim who sustained head injuries during the incident.
