Gunmen Kill PoS Operator in Imo State Robbery Attack

On Sunday evening, a Point of Sale (PoS) operator identified as Daniel was shot dead by armed robbers in the World Bank area of Owerri, Imo State. The incident took place near Everydai Supermarket in the Ndegwu Orogw community, within the Owerri West Local Government Area.

Sources indicate that Daniel was approached by the gunmen who demanded money from him. When he resisted their demands, he was shot, and the assailants fled the scene with cash.

This tragic event has heightened concerns regarding the safety of PoS operators in the area, as there has been a growing trend of attacks targeting these individuals. Philip Dike, a source familiar with the incident, confirmed the details, emphasizing the need for police action.
