Gwarzo Condoles Jigawa Over Emir of Gumel’s Passing

Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, the President of the MAAUN Group of Universities, extended his condolences to the government and people of Jigawa State following the death of Alhaji Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Sani II, the Emir of Gumel. In a statement he personally signed, Gwarzo described the late Emir as a respected traditional ruler who was loved and loyal to his people throughout his 46-year reign.

He emphasized that such enduring affection from the community reflects the Emir's exemplary leadership and commitment to service. Gwarzo conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of himself and the entire MAAUN community, noting that the Emir's passing has left a significant void.

He prayed for Allah to forgive the Emir's shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and provide comfort to the family, the Gumel Emirate, and the people of Jigawa State in their time of loss.
