Rivers State Burial of Ameachi's Mother

Police have blocked the Omagwa road leading to Ubima, the hometown of former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, as mourners arrive for his mother's burial. Chizi Enyi of the ADC alleges this is to hinder access due to a political event organized by Nyesom Wike.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State accused Minister Nyesom Wike of planning to disrupt access to Ubima during the burial of Rotimi Amaechi's mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi, on September 5, by organizing a reception in Omagwa.
