Mary Habila's Body Transferred to Abuja for Autopsy

The body of Mary Habila, who died on June 27 at the residence of Minister of Works David Umahi in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has been transferred to Abuja for a forensic autopsy. This decision followed consultations between her family, legal representatives, and authorities involved in the investigation.

The family agreed to the autopsy but stipulated conditions, including that the investigation be moved to the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja to ensure transparency and fairness. They also requested access to inspect Habila's body before it is examined by an independent pathologist.
