Bauchi State Perm Sec Mukhtar Gidado Dies in Saudi Arabia

Mukhtar Gidado, the Permanent Secretary of Bauchi State, passed away in Saudi Arabia during the ongoing Hajj pilgrimage. His death was confirmed by Governor Bala Mohammed in a statement on Sunday.

Gidado, who held the traditional title of Turakin Dawakin Misau, was recognized for his dedication and commitment to public service in Bauchi State. His passing marks a significant loss to his family, colleagues, and the wider community.

The governor emphasized Gidado's important role in coordinating previous Hajj operations and expressed condolences to the deceased's family. A funeral prayer was conducted on Sunday during the Zuhr prayer at a mosque in Makkah.

Governor Mohammed also prayed for Allah to forgive Gidado's shortcomings and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
