Egypt and Belgium Draw 1-1 in World Cup Warm-Up Match

In a World Cup warm-up match held in Seattle, Egypt's Mohamed Salah was denied a perfect 34th birthday gift as his team drew 1-1 with Belgium. Egypt took the lead in the 21st minute with a powerful 20-yard strike from Emam Ashour, which found the bottom corner past Belgium's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Salah played a crucial role in the build-up to the goal. Egypt nearly doubled their lead before halftime when Mostafa Zico's shot was tipped behind by Courtois.

In the second half, Salah's header was saved by Courtois, and Ashour failed to convert the rebound. Belgium's manager Rudi Garcia introduced Romelu Lukaku in the 66th minute, which led to an own goal by Mohamed Hani just moments later, equalizing the score.

Despite the draw, Egypt continues its search for its first-ever World Cup victory, having previously failed to win in three World Cup appearances since 1934.
